The Bosch ID20 provides a practical upgrade from a traditional mechanical door lock while maintaining a familiar handle-style design for convenient everyday use.
Users can unlock the door using Fingerprint, Password, IC Card or Mechanical Emergency Key. Network-enabled ID20 versions also support smartphone connectivity through Tuya Smart for additional smart lock management.
Its semiconductor fingerprint sensor offers 508dpi resolution and fingerprint acquisition in 250ms or less, with published capacity of up to 100 fingerprints, 100 passwords and 100 IC cards.
For enhanced security, the lock supports a 32-digit dummy password, allowing random digits to be entered around the real PIN to reduce the risk of password observation. Anti-tamper and repeated incorrect-entry alerts provide additional protection.
A low-battery warning provides advance notice before battery depletion, while the integrated USB Type-C emergency power port can provide temporary power if the batteries run out. A Class C mechanical cylinder provides additional emergency access.
